        "transcript": "<p class=\"MsoNormal\">SOUNDBITE: Chloe Chipoletta, Scientist:</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">\"It\u2019s like if you contact gorillas enough times, then they start reacting to your presence rather than only avoiding you and running away with fear. If you do that, they get a bit angry, then you lose them, and then for like two weeks, you don\u2019t find them anymore. After you\u2019ve found them again, then you have to start all over again. \"</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Chloe tries to contact the gorillas every day.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">But even after five years, it can still take hours just to find them.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">SOUNDBITE: Chloe Chipoletta, Scientist:</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">This guy is bent. You see him? He\u2019s bent, so somebody went this way.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">The trackers start making a special noise to let the gorillas know it\u2019s us.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">SOUNDBITE: (translated) Tracker:</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">\"Mlima, Matata and Ndimbalimba--they know the clucking very well. And if you didn\u2019t do it, they\u2019d think you were someone coming to kill them.\"</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">We know we\u2019re close, but where are they?</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">SOUNDBITE: Mireya Mayor:</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">You can actually smell the silverback. It\u2019s a really strong, distinctive odor, so we\u2019re really close.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Even from 15 feet away, it\u2019s nearly impossible to see them.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Then something goes wrong.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">The sound is chilling.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">We\u2019ve gotten too close.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">We sit tight.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">SOUNDBITE: Mireya Mayor:</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">\"All I know is that gorillas were coming out of everywhere and I just, just went down as quickly as I could. But it seemed like every direction I looked, there was a gorilla coming out. And then I saw him duck down, and I was like, \u201cI\u2019m ducking right back down with him.\u201d</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Clearly agitated, Mlima charges.</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">It seems he'd prefer that we weren't around.</p>",
